How SmartSafe ID bands Work

Purchase a Band

Go to www.smartsafeid.co.uk/pages/register-your-band

Alternatively click the "Register Your Band" tab above

Step 3

Fill in the registration form to register your band ID and add your emergency contact information.

Your band ID is the code under the QR code on your wrist band

When registering your band you will be asked to provide emergency contact information. Only the information you provide and choose will be visible if the QR code is scanned. (Remember, don't use sensitive information, First names only if you wish but not essential.) The only information you MUST provide is the band ID number and an emergency contact phone number, any other information is optional. (e.g Allergy information, medical information etc)

Step 4

Your child or person wears the band

Step 5

Scan if Lost

If your child or any person wearing the band gets lost, anyone with a smartphone can scan the QR code on the band. This will take the device to the emergency contact page, which displays the emergency information you have chosen when registering the band. The person who has scanned the QR code will have access to the Emergency phone number and can ring the parent/carer to reunite the missing child/person with the emergency contact.
